MBA (Entrepreneurship Specialisation)

Laureate Online Education's Online MBA with a Specialisation Track in Entrepreneurship provides comprehensive coverage of the subject and has a focus on the behaviours and attributes required to operate successfully within the entrepreneurial environment. Modules include Entrepreneurship, Financing the Entrepreneurial Organisation and Advanced Concepts of e-Business.

As you study, you will develop a thorough understanding of current theories and issues regarding the management of people, resources, change and organisations – and the practical skills to apply it.

EFMD CEL accreditation 

The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) is an organisation that has proven its commitment to international business with the EQUIS Accreditation. The EFMD has now developed an accreditation dedicated to raising the standards of technology-enhanced learning programmes worldwide.

In 2007, EFMD awarded accreditation for teChnology-Enhanced Learning (CEL Accreditation) to the University of Liverpool’s Online MBA programmes delivered in partnership with Laureate Online Education.

Prior to taking the Online MBA (Entrepreneurship Specialisation) from Laureate Online Education, the following are required:

• Bachelor’s degree equivalent to UK Honours degree.
• English equivalent to minimum of IETS test level 6.5 overall.
• TOEFL 580 paper based test / 88 Internet based test / TEEP 6.5
• 2 years of relevant work experience.

Please note for the Entrepreneurship Specialisation MBA, Laureate Online Education also evaluates applicants on an individual basis.

The Online Entrepreneurial MBA takes on average 30 months to complete. However, since students progress at their own pace, you may choose to complete your studies in as little as 24 months or spread them over 60 months.

The Online Entrepreneurship MBA programme comprises five core modules, two specialisation modules, one elective module and culminates in a dissertation. The first module is 9 weeks in length which starts with a week long brief introduction to the programme, the learning platform and then continues with the module content. Each following module is eight weeks in length. By taking one module at a time, you can explore a specific subject in-depth without distractions.

Dissertation

Students refine their dissertation topic in conjunction with their Personal Dissertation Advisor, an academic supervisor who will provide support throughout the writing process.
