MBA (Leadership Specialisation)

Laureate Online Education's Online MBA with a Specialisation Track in Leadership covers both basics and advanced leadership concepts and techniques. The programme examines the challenges that exist when leading a workforce comprised of individuals from differing cultures, religions, and languages with an extensive study of advanced leadership concepts and techniques. Modules include Business Leadership, Global Leadership, and Organisational Learning.

As you study, you will develop a thorough understanding of current theories and issues regarding the management of people, resources, change and organisations – and the practical skills to apply it.

Leadership Specialisation

The Online Leadership MBA programme offers a comprehensive education and postgraduate qualification in all aspects of management, while enabling you to customise your study to meet particular work and career needs.

The core modules cover corporate strategy, the management of people, resources, the environment and change. Additionally, you can focus on a specific area by following a pre-defined Specialisation Track in Leadership, Business in Emerging Markets, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Finance & Accounting and Marketing.

The Specialisation Track in Leadership offers an intellectual and practical examination of leadership. The programme also examines the challenges that exist when leading a workforce comprised of individuals from differing cultures, religions, and languages with an extensive study of advanced leadership concepts and techniques.

EFMD CEL accreditation 

The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) is an organisation that has proven its commitment to international business with the EQUIS Accreditation. The EFMD has now developed an accreditation dedicated to raising the standards of technology-enhanced learning programmes worldwide.

In 2007, EFMD awarded accreditation for teChnology-Enhanced Learning (CEL Accreditation) to the University of Liverpool’s Online MBA programmes delivered in partnership with Laureate Online Education.

Prior to taking the Online MBA (Leadership) from Laureate Online Education, the following are required:

• Bachelor’s degree equivalent to UK Honours degree.
• English equivalent to minimum of IETS test level 6.5 overall.
• TOEFL 580 paper based test / 88 Internet based test / TEEP 6.5
• 2 years of relevant work experience.

Please note that for the Leadership MBA, Laureate Online Education also evaluates applicants on an individual basis.

The Online Leadership MBA takes on average 30 months to complete. However, since students progress at their own pace, you may choose to complete your studies in as little as 24 months or spread them over 60 months.

The Online MBA programme comprises five core modules, two specialisation modules, one suggested elective module and culminates in a dissertation. The first module is 9 weeks in length which starts with a week long brief introduction to the programme, the learning platform and then continues with the module content. Each following module is eight weeks in length. By taking one module at a time, you can explore a specific subject in-depth without distractions.

Dissertation
